Sales Development Associate
About the role
Artsy is seeking a driven, self-motivated Sales Development Associate to join our Gallery Partnerships team. This sales role is a unique opportunity to contribute to Artsy’s digital transformation of the art world by driving growth and expanding our global gallery network.
Responsibilities
- Generate outbound leads via cold calling and email campaigns
- Research and identify newly opened galleries, and galleries not currently known to Artsy to outreach
- Follow up on marketing generated leads and conduct research to evaluate partnership opportunity and fit
- Effectively communicate Artsy’s value proposition in sales outreach to galleries to generate interest in the Artsy platform
- Qualify warm leads for Sales Managers, and schedule product demonstrations with relevant prospects
- Test, measure, and improve outreach campaign effectiveness and end-to-end lead management
Requirements
- Currently authorized to live and work in the US
- Based in New York City
- Interested in sales and being a part of a larger sales team
- Thrives on challenges and driven to exceed goals
- Curious, interested in learning quickly and growing
- Succeeds in a fast-paced, metric-driven role and team
- A compelling and persuasive communicator; comfortable managing communication and outreach across a large target client-base
- Strong time management skills
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or other automation tools
Qualifications
- Can fluently speak other languages; French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Japanese
- Worked with Salesforce and/or Outreach
- Professional experience or a network within the commercial art world in Europe

Pay
The salary range for this role is $50,000-$60,000 annually. In addition, you will be eligible for the company’s commission plan, with an annual VC opportunity of $20,000. Artsy is committed to equitable compensation practices, and your offer will depend on the relevant experience and skillset you bring to the team. Schedule
This role is a hybrid role with office attendance required three days per week.
