About the role

We are a fast-growing pharmaceutical and healthcare company marketing innovative products designed to enhance patient and provider practice by easing administrative burden, improving safety profiles, and optimizing prescription selection. We seek energetic Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to join our team and share our commitment to delivering value and service to the U.S. healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of our pharmaceutical products.
  • Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify appropriate resources (e.g., Payer Relations Managers, HUB, headquarters-approved materials) to guide customers toward reimbursement and distribution choices, always working within PhRMA guidelines and values.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the pharmaceutical products you represent as data and information change frequently.
  • Deliver product educational programs and in-services to customers.
  • Operate within compliance guidelines and industry regulations at all times.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
  • Design and implement customer-specific strategies for each stakeholder within an account (e.g., Office Manager, Physician Assistants, nurses, billers, secretaries).
  • Effectively manage allocated financial resources.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by responding promptly to customer requests, inquiries, and needs.

Requirements

  • Strong sales abilities or demonstrated success as a Sales Representative.
  • Ability to understand and communicate highly scientific and technical medical information.
  • Pharmaceutical industry product knowledge or education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for excellence and embrace of competition.
  • Ability and willingness to drive or operate a vehicle—driving is an essential function of this role, as you will cover over 80 physicians within your local territory (no overnight travel required).

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to sell pharmaceutical products utilizing Buy & Bill or Specialty pharmacy distribution models.
  • Ability to sell HCP-administered injectable products.
  • Demonstrated high performance.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify unique sales opportunities and perform tasks beyond designated responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Strong business planning skills and ability to multitask.
