Sales Dept Lot Porter / Attendant / Driver

About the role

A multi-talented position supporting the sales team with day-to-day operations on the dealership lot.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team as needed for daily business operations.
• Manage the overall layout of the sales inventory lot, including:
  • Stocking vehicles.
  • Fueling vehicles.
  • Moving and organizing vehicles on the lot.
• Provide pick-up and drop-off services for customers and vehicles.
• Ensure all vehicles are retail-ready daily by:
  • Placing buyer’s guides on all used vehicles.
  • Applying CPO guides and flags on certified vehicles.
  • Merchandising CPO vehicles.
  • Ensuring new vehicles have their window stickers.
• Pick up new vehicles from other Ford dealerships to swap into inventory.
• Transport purchased used vehicles back to the dealership.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions (summer and winter).
• Lead yourself and the team in alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before parking vehicles on the lot.
• Assist managers as needed for the benefit of the team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with continuous activity throughout the 40-hour workweek.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Must be able to stand for most of the day and work in varying weather conditions (cold, heat, snow).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break daily).
