Sales Counselor

About the role

Sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Aids families with funeral selections.
• Attends services.
• Generates leads through walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
• One year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook).
• Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Pay

Targeted First Year Earnings: $55,000 - $65,000
