Responsibilities
- Cook up and track intermodal shipments secured by ArcBest.
- Build solid working relationships with customers and vendors.
- Ensure shipments are accurately rated and all payables are posted.
- Keep rail schedules, railroad and dray company costs, and accessorials updated.
- Maintain vendor profiles and manage customer trailer pools.
- Avoid storage or detention costs and assist in equipment accountability.
- Monitor freight activity and address issues to ensure high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including special reporting and website compliance.
- Secure and execute dray capacity for both planned and unplanned moves.
- Collaborate with ArcBest Sales and Intermodal Carrier Sales Representatives to secure shipments.
- Contribute to other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
- Prior intermodal operations experience, preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
