This entry-level to early-career role serves as a key point of contact for customers, supporting order management, marketplace account health, customer service, and sales growth initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving customer challenges, and is interested in developing a career in ecommerce, sales support, and account management. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries received through phone, email, ecommerce websites, third-party marketplaces, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner Manage and process orders through company ecommerce websites and marketplace platforms including Amazon and eBay Identify sales opportunities by converting customer inquiries, quotes, and product requests into completed orders Conduct proactive follow-up with customers regarding quotes, inquiries, open orders, and potential sales opportunities Review inventory availability and coordinate fulfillment from existing inventory whenever possible Partner with Purchasing and internal teams to source products not currently available in inventory Communicate product availability changes, pricing updates, shipping information, and delivery status to customers Monitor marketplace account health metrics including response times, feedback scores, defect rates, cancellations, and customer satisfaction metrics Manage customer feedback and assist with resolving customer concerns to maintain strong marketplace ratings Track and report marketplace sales activity, customer service metrics, and account performance indicators Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, Product Data, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes Support departmental objectives related to marketplace sales growth, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and account health Perform additional duties, projects, and assignments as needed What We Are Looking For Understanding of the sales cycle, including lead management, quoting, follow-up, order conversion, and post-sale support Customer-first mindset with a focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and problem resolution Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn business systems and marketplace platforms Ability to work effectively within an ecommerce, distribution, retail, or B2B sales environment Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support revenue growth Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge And Skills Strong computer proficiency and ability to work across multiple software systems simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing deadlines High attention to detail and commitment to order and data accuracy Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams Familiarity with Amazon, eBay, Walmart Marketplace, or similar ecommerce platforms preferred Experience with CRM, ERP, customer service, or order management systems preferred Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Ecommerce, or a related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, inside sales, account coordination, ecommerce operations, marketplace operations, or order management preferred Experience managing customer inquiries, quotations, orders, sales leads, or customer accounts preferred Experience working in a distributor, manufacturer, retailer, ecommerce, or B2B sales environment preferred Experience using ERP, CRM, customer service, ecommerce, or order management systems preferred Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered Compensation & Bonus The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $25.00-$33.50 per hour. Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
