About the Role

As a Sales Coordinator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will support our sales organization through data analysis, inside sales support, reporting, customer coordination, and sales operations. This role serves as a key link between Sales, Dispatch, Customer Service, Operations, and Credit to improve customer experience, provide actionable business insights, and help drive profitable growth across the Phoenix market.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily communication between Sales, Dispatch, Customer Service, Operations, and Credit.
  • Support outside sales representatives with quote preparation, project coordination, bid administration, and customer follow-up.
  • Maintain customer, project, and pricing information within company systems.
  • Assist with order documentation and resolve order discrepancies.
  • Provide backup support for customer service and other sales coordinators.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports such as KPI scorecards.
  • Analyze customer volume trends, pricing performance, margins, and market activity.
  • Monitor pipeline activity and identify growth opportunities and declining accounts.
  • Support pricing initiatives, forecasting, and customer segmentation through data analysis.
  • Respond to customer inquiries calling in for sales support.
  • Follow up on inactive customer accounts.
  • Coordinate sales meetings, plant tours, and other sales events.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and customer communication records.
  • Support prospecting campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide billing and documentation support as needed.
  • Partner with Credit and Accounting to resolve customer issues when necessary.
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales support, inside sales, sales operations, customer service, or a related role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Power BI experience preferred.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, Command, SAP, or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
