Position Summary

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for placing and invoicing orders for Material Handling customers. This will include orders for New, Used, and Allied equipment. The Sales Coordinator will work with other Sales Coordinators, the Division Sales Operations Manager, and other members of the Sales team in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities that will increase efficiencies in the sales coordination process and enhance customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Set up Sales Orders, issue Purchase Orders and order equipment.
  • Follow up as needed.
  • Review Order Acknowledgements and send to Salesperson for review.
  • Cook installations of new equipment and batteries.
  • Cook Open Work Orders to service/power systems for new equipment installations.
  • Cook Request discounts from OEM’s.
  • Cook Create delivery report in Logisnext system. Enter signed copy into OEM on-line system.
  • Cook Order capacity plates.
  • Cook Approve vendor invoices and receive in the system.
  • Cook Review Work Orders for accurate pricing.
  • Cook Create Shippers in ERP.
  • Cook Complete costing worksheet.
  • Cook Calculate commission from costing sheets.
  • Cook Submit extended warranties.
  • Cook Invoice.
  • Cook Complete customer delivery packet and send to Salesperson.
  • Cook Change information on Equipment Cards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum High school diploma.
  • Experience: 2-5 years experience in sales coordination, or other administrative discipline.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent knowledge and ability with Microsoft Office products. Strong Microsoft Business Central skills and knowledge.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Must be a team player.
  • Willing to cross train in all aspects of sales coordination.
  • Open to new process ideas.
