About the role
The Sales Coordinator provides the support necessary to efficiently maintain current sales systems, applications, and sales databases. They also maintain and organize group room contacts and room block inventories. This position assists in managing the sales and marketing efforts of the hotel to maximize revenue.
Responsibilities
- Supports the sales team in developing future and repeat business through administrative, customer service, and sale lead development perspectives.
- Maintains and organizes group room contacts and room block inventories.
- Produces marketing materials and assists in the smooth operation of the Sales and Catering functions at the hotel.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or support sales.
- Customer service skills, telephone skills, and proficiency with email systems.
- A strong understanding of computers, including intranet, systems such as FOSSE, OnQ, Delphi (preferred).
- Brand experience (preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License.
Qualifications
- High knowledge of computers including intranet, systems such as FOSSE, OnQ, Delphi (strongly preferred).
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
