Sales Consultant (New Home Sales)
About the role
Tim Lewis Communities is seeking experienced sales consultants for our new townhome community in Petaluma, CA. This opportunity blends convenience, comfort, and a modern lifestyle in historic Petaluma. As a state-licensed real estate agent, the Sales Consultant works independently to sell single or multiple family residential units, guiding buyers from initial interest through the close of escrow.
Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective buyers, demonstrate product, and negotiate effectively to sell new homes, including upgrades.
- Pre-qualify customers, make plan presentations, and follow up with prospects.
- Frequently contact buyers in person, by phone, and email to ensure a smooth transaction from point of sale through escrow.
- Meet monthly sales quotas (75% of role).
- Collect and review local competition sales information for management (5%).
- Prepare and submit sales contracts; review and revise option pricing to prevent errors (5%).
- Interface with Construction, Customer Care, and Purchasing teams to address buyer concerns, construction schedules, or issues (5%).
- Prepare and submit sales activity reports, update customer information, and provide management with territory forecasts, new account updates, and cancellations (10%).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- AA degree plus 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- New home sales experience required.
- Valid California Real Estate License and Driver’s License with valid auto insurance policy.
- Suitable car for transporting buyers to lots within the community.

- Database management software experience preferred.
Pay
Hourly, plus commission.
