Job Responsibilities
- Travels around assigned territory to service accounts
- Checks quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in stock and service the accounts
- Fills shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out of stock items are minimized
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers
- Communicates with Sales Representatives regarding changes in buyer’s preferences, out of stock inventory, oversight in shelf space and any concerns/situations encountered during business hours
- Builds and develops trust and a strong working relationship of the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, having excellent customer service and a “can-do” attitude
- Performs other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Work experience in the liquor industry, such as: bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. a plus
- Goal and results oriented
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work
- Competitive, self-motivated and customer service orientated
- Professional written and oral communication skills a must
- Have reliable transportation with valid insurance
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly
- Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
About the Role
This Sales Consultant in Training position supports, services, and maintains accounts in the Fargo and surrounding area. This position is intended to train new personnel who will eventually have a sales territory.
