Sales Consultant
A Brief Overview
A Sales Consultant with TriNet helps drive business success by selling TriNet's comprehensive HR solutions to companies with 5-99 employees. Key responsibilities include prospecting, building a pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and executing a sales process.
What You Will Do
- Develop an annual plan to meet sales targets in your territory.
- Prospect using various methods like cold calling, email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Build and leverage a diverse network of ecosystem partners for referrals and business development.
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship with both TriNet and the prospect's decision-makers.
- Utilize a multi-step sales process with defined criteria, executive sponsorship, and internal business processes.
- Manage multiple complex opportunities in parallel throughout the sales process.
- Use sales tools and systems such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, and quoting tools.
- Achieve and exceed sales activity metrics and quota targets.
- Complete administrative tasks and duties in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate TriNet's core values daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 1+ years of B2B complex sales cycle experience required.
Skills And Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to build your own book of business from prospecting, sourcing, establishing, and maximizing partner and referral networks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and sales opportunities at different stages.
- Proven dedication to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually evolving business and work environment while managing balancing priorities.
- Experience with technology and common software and web applications, including MS Office and Salesforce.com.
- Detail-oriented.
Travel Requirements
Ability and willingness to travel to prospective clients' sites within your assigned territory.
Work Environment
Work in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office or home setting.
Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $70,875.00 to $95,700.00. Final salary offer will be based on skills, education, work location, and experience.
