About the role
Summit Place KIA East is seeking energetic, organized, and self-motivated individuals to join their Sales Team. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will generate new sales by prospecting new and nurturing existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Sell new and used automobiles.
- Approach and assist potential new customers in the showroom.
- Keep lists of customers and contact them regularly to see if they are ready to make a new purchase.
- Negotiate with the customer over the final price of the car.
- Place regularly scheduled calls and account reviews.
- Consult and advise with dealership management.
- Gain knowledge/expertise of dealership product and service portfolio.
- Perform administrative duties relating to contract administration.
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and other office machines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Prior auto dealership experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to multitask.
- Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
- EXCELLENT customer service skills and phone etiquette.
- Professional appearance a must.
- Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person").
- Must meet company's requirements for employment including a valid driver's license.
