Incentive-based compensation is determined by the success of the individual Sales Consultant. Average compensation is $50k to $100k+ per year.
About the role
Learn and adopt Stand Strong Fence structured sales process and complete required training. Present and sell the features and benefits of Stand Strong Fence products, continually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up, and set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet or exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Confirm and qualify booked appointments.
- Generate organic leads and provide consultative customer appointments.
- Generate accurate estimates and professionally present proposals to property owners or representatives.
- Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry, and process knowledge in relevant product areas.
- Perform organic lead generation strategies and activities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business and marketing opportunities.
- Develop product reference documents and product materials for customers.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments.
- Create and maintain a product marketing plan for increasing sales and revenue.
- Work with install team leaders to understand, explain, and analyze client requirements.
- Demonstrate products to consumers.
- Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs or inquiries.
- Interact with clients and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- College degree in a related field or relevant experience is preferred.
- Home service sales experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled in verbal and written communications.
- Polished and professional demeanor with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with the internet.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust from subordinates and supervisors.
- Exceedingly positive work attitude.
- Valid driver’s license.
