Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and customers as they enter the store.
  • Identify patients’ needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience.
  • Provide promotional products and services available.
  • Absorb and identify problems related to prescriptions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions.
  • Attain sales goals while complying with company and local policies.
  • Adhere to quality control standards including OSHA and other safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to prescription.
  • Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses.
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Keep track of delivery time commitments to patients.
  • Notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, incorrect lenses, etc.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • The skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Passion for outstanding customer/patient care and eagerness to share that passion with others.
  • Schedule flexibility.

Eligibility

You have 1+ year of proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service while exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

You have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.

You have the skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.

You have a high school diploma or equivalent required.

You are passionate about outstanding customer/patient care and eager to share that passion with others.

You have schedule flexibility.

Optical experience is a plus.
