Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and customers as they enter the store.
  • Identify patients’ needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience.
  • Provide promotional products and services available.
  • Aids in choosing eyewear that fits budget and eye care needs.
  • Troubleshoots and identifies problems related to prescriptions.
  • Resolves customer complaints and provides solutions.
  • Attains sales goals while complying with company and local policies.
  • Adheres to quality control standards including OSHA and safety requirements.
  • Ensures brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties.
  • Executes simple customer repairs, assembles lenses, edges stock lenses, and ensures accurate and timely delivery of eyeglasses.
  • Maintains brand standards in the lab area and notifies management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, incorrect lenses, etc.
  • Tracks delivery time commitments to patients (Now Service, Ready When Promised) for 100% compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and required.

  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • The skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Passion for outstanding customer/patient care and eagerness to share that passion with others.
  • Schedule flexibility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
