Responsibilities

• Guide high-end clients through a premium sales experience.
• Create inspired spaces with world-class furniture and décor.
• Curate luxury looks while earning commissions with no limit.
• Drive sales, contribute to store goals, and execute the La-Z-Boy selling process.
• Support the Design program and professional home consultations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer issues.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with store employees and assist in training new peers.
• Achieve store operational excellence by managing store displays, logs, and deliveries.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities.
• Initiative to meet goals and motivated to achieve more.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Pass background and drug screen.

Skills

• Persuasive and competitive drive.
• Eye for modern aesthetics and premium materials.
• Detail-oriented and service-focused.
• Experience in sales or retail (luxury experience a plus).

Pay

• Base Pay: $13 / hour (varies by store location).
• Commission & Bonus: Earn more with uncapped commission on written sales (3% on La-Z-Boy Design Sales and 2% on other sales), quarterly bonus opportunity of $1,500 based on individual sales goals.

Schedule

Nearly continuous use of repetitive hand motions, hearing and listening. Often required to sit, walk, bend and stoop. Subject to inside environmental conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
