Sales Strategy & Market Analysis
The Sales Consultant develops and executes targeted sales strategies to increase market share and client acquisition. They analyze market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities. The role involves achieving inquiry generation and referral targets through strategic follow-up and market analysis.
Relationship Management & Community Outreach
The Sales Consultant builds and maintains strong relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources, including hospitals, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, and physicians. They represent Home Instead at industry events, health fairs, professional conferences, and community meetings. Local marketing campaigns are developed and executed to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Sales Execution & Performance Tracking
The Sales Consultant conducts high-impact sales presentations and face-to-face meetings with healthcare professionals and community partners. They educate referral sources on Home Instead’s value proposition and tailor solutions to client needs. Accurate records of sales activities, referral sources, and conversion rates are maintained in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce). Key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales goals are tracked and reported on.
Consultative Sales & Client Support
The Sales Consultant performs consultative sales processes, including outreach, referral qualification, and conversion. They provide support by conducting in-home care consultations, quality assurance visits, and assisting with new care starts as needed. Feedback on market trends and business development opportunities is provided to internal teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- One year of experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry is required; an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building professional relationships.
- Ability to spend 75% of your time in the local community, actively building strong relationships and referral partnerships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Experience with the Northeast Nebraska market preferred.
- Experience in CRM systems (Salesforce) preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary at $50,000-$60,000, based on experience + bonus opportunities.
