About the role
Cavender Subaru of Midland Odessa in Midland, Texas, is seeking a talented Sales Consultant to join their growing team. This position offers a unique pay plan for the first four months of employment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers to identify their vehicle needs and lead them through the sales process including vehicle/car selection, test drive, personalization, financing, and paperwork
- Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new and used vehicles/cars
- Use customer relationship management (CRM) tool to effectively track all customer interactions
- Present customer deal structure and additional finance products
- Follow up with customers and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Complete all ongoing training modules to stay updated on new vehicle products, features, accessories, etc.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards
- Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle
- Engage in business development, contacting prospects and clients via phone and email
Requirements
While sales or customer service experience is preferred, this position is open to candidates who have strong communications skills and a strong record of positive customer service results with a customer-focused attitude. Applicants must also submit to and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), background check, and pre-employment drug test. A valid driver’s license is required.
Qualifications
No prior experience is required. Candidates should be bilingual in Spanish, which is considered a bonus.

Pay
- 1st calendar month: $4,000.00 pro-rated from date of hire
- 2nd calendar month: $3,000.00 guaranteed + $150.00 per vehicle sold
- 3rd calendar month: $2,500.00 guaranteed + $225.00 per vehicle sold
- 4th calendar month: $2,500.00 guaranteed + $300.00 per vehicle sold, with an additional $500.00 per five vehicles sold
- 10 Units Guaranteed income of $5,000
- 16 Units Guaranteed Income of $8,500
