About the role
The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and administering the company's global sales compensation programs. This role is integral to ensuring that commission payments are accurate, scalable, and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales compensation process from participant setup through monthly commission payouts.
- Administer sales compensation plans in Everstage, including participant setup, quota assignments, plan administration, and commission calculations.
- Calculate, validate, and reconcile monthly commission payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan policies.
- Serve as the primary contact for commission questions and resolve commission inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain commission documentation, policies, and plan summaries.
- Support monthly commission accounting activities, including accruals, reconciliations, deferred commission schedules, and fluctuation analysis.
- Aid in quarterly and annual audit requests by preparing supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve commission processes, reporting, and system efficiency.
- Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance to operationalize and optimize variable compensation plans and SPIFF programs.
- Support sales leadership with compensation-related questions and operational requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of sales compensation or commission operations experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth technology company.
- Experience administering commission systems (Everstage preferred, or Xactly, Anaplan, SPIFF, or CaptivateIQ, etc.).
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working in a high-growth SaaS, technology, or similarly fast-paced environment preferred.

Pay
- Base salary range: $115,000 - $140,000 annually.
- Additional compensation: All full-time roles are eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options.
