About the Role A-LIGN is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Compensation Analyst to support the administration, calculation, reporting, and execution of the company's sales compensation programs. As a member of the Revenue Operations team, the Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for supporting monthly commission processing, auditing compensation data, resolving commission inquiries, maintaining compensation documentation, and assisting with compensation plan administration. This role will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Salesforce teams to ensure commission calculations are accurate, timely, and aligned with established compensation plans. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large datasets while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Reports to Sales Compensation Manager Pay Classification Full-Time, Exempt Responsibilities Support the administration and execution of sales compensation programs and incentive plans across the organizationCalculate, validate, and audit monthly commission payouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with compensation plan guidelinesPartner with Finance to reconcile commission calculations and support the timely processing of commission paymentsMaintain a thorough understanding of compensation plans, commission rules, and related sales processesReview Salesforce data and other source systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness for commission calculationsInvestigate and resolve commission discrepancies, payment questions, and compensation-related inquiries from sales team membersManage and respond to Salesforce commission case requests, ensuring service level expectations are metPrepare recurring commission reports, audit reports, and compensation summaries for Revenue Operations and leadership teamsSupport annual compensation plan rollouts by maintaining documentation, updating commission models, and assisting with testing and validation activitiesCollaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales Leadership, Finance, and Salesforce administrators to improve compensation processes and data qualityIdentify opportunities to streamline commission administration, automate manual processes, and improve reporting efficiency Assist in maintaining compensation policies, procedures, and training materials to support plan understanding and adoptionSupport ad hoc compensation analysis, reporting requests, and special projects as needed Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or another analytical field Experience 2-4 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, Financial Analysis, Sales Operations, or a related analytical roleExperience supporting commission calculations, reporting, or compensation administration preferredWorking knowledge of Salesforce and an understanding of CRM data structures and reportingExperience analyzing and validating large datasets with a strong focus on accuracy and detailFamiliarity with sales incentive compensation programs and commission processesAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and data manipulation techniquesExperience working with commission management platforms, reporting tools, or sales performance software is preferred Skills Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and qualityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies efficientlyExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain compensation-related information clearly to stakeholdersCollaborative team player who works effectively across Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Leadership teamsAbility to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvementProactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and execute assigned responsibilities with minimal oversightComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and deadlinesHigh level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential compensation and employee informationResults-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence, accuracy, and customer service for internal stakeholders Benefits Healthcare, Dental, and Vision BenefitsEmployer Paid Life Insurance and Disability InsuranceEAP - Employee Assistance ProgramPet Insurance401(k) Plan with Employer MatchingCompetitive Bonus StructureHome Office ReimbursementCertification ReimbursementPersonalized Career CoachingGenerous Paid Time OffPaid Office Closure December 25-January 1Vacation BonusSummer Hours About A-LIGN A-LIGN is the leading provider of high-quality, efficient cybersecurity compliance programs.
