Sales Clerk (Sacramento)
About the role
Savvas Learning Company is seeking a part-time Sales Clerk to work in the Sacramento area. This position supports the Account Manager and field team with sales presentations, product activations, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Implement specified projects under the direction of the Account Manager.
- Support Account General Manager (AGM) and Specialists with sales presentations and product activations, including transportation of materials from storage, setup, handouts, and tear down.
- Prepare materials needed for sales presentations, trainings, and conferences.
- Strategically plan sales calls by outlined objectives and action steps from the Account Manager.
- Manage time effectively and communicate via phone, emails, and site visits with customers.
- Utilize online resources and training modules for product knowledge development.
- Respond to customers’ requests and problems with appropriate timeliness and concern; develop professional credibility and trust with the customer.
- Maintain records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine problems.
- Provide timely and complete information needed for the Account Manager and outside resources to perform effectively in the territory.
- Assist with various post-conference activities such as finalizing attendance lists, preparing reports, and preparing permanent project files.
- Learn new products, procedures, and processes while maintaining daily duties.
- Deliver sample and pilot materials to sites, including pick up.
- Maintain storage facilities, breakdown boxes, and organize new shipments.
- Provide general administrative or clerical assistance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.

Pay
Hiring range: $15.00 - $21.00 hourly. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.
