About the role

The Industry-Leader of Motors and Drives, Innomotics, is seeking a Sales/Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth, expand industrial markets, and strengthen OEM and channel partnerships for its Geared Motor business across the Northeast and select national accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market development and growth initiatives across all geared motor product lines.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
  • Develop strategies with portfolio and product teams to address emerging market trends.
  • Support new business deals, proposals, and contract integration with operations.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and channel relationships.
  • Partner with sales teams and leadership to evaluate performance and refine strategy.
  • Deliver technical and sales training to internal teams, channel partners, and customers.
  • Enhance customer experience and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Represent Innomotics at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 10+ years in business development or sales (geared motor experience preferred).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized, goal-driven, and effective at managing multiple priorities.
  • Self-directed with the ability to operate in dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in forecasting, planning, and presenting growth strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to travel for customer visits, market development, and industry events.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $104,400 - $179,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
