About the role

Full-time, year-round yard worker position with the opportunity to learn to operate a front-end loader and drive a single-axle dump truck for customer deliveries. We are a local, family-owned landscape-supply business with a friendly, positive environment and are willing to train the right person for an expanded role.

Schedule

• 35–40 hours per week, Monday–Saturday (closed Sundays)
• Spring & Summer: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
• Fall & Winter: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Overtime available during busy periods

Responsibilities

• Maintain yard inventory and upkeep of outside property
• Assist customers with natural stone and bagged products
• Train to operate a front-end loader to load dump trucks and customer trucks
• Train to drive single-axle dump trucks (subject to insurance approval)
• Perform basic equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• No DUI/OVI within the last three years (required to drive dump trucks)

Pay

Starting hourly wage: $16.00–$18.00, with adjustments based on tenure and skills learned.
