Sales Associate - Yonkers

Thrive in color with us at Beach Bum Tanning. As a Sales Associate you will deliver outstanding customer service, promote our brand and services, and meet sales targets while maintaining professionalism and integrity. This is a full‑time, non‑seasonal role with opportunities for long‑term growth.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Assess clients' skin types and recommend appropriate tanning equipment and lotions, explaining the process, positioning, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized tanning area; ensure equipment is functional and supplies are well‑stocked.
• Upsell tanning lotions and other products, offering personalized recommendations.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while upholding high standards of customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate client records, including tanning history and preferences.
• Complete daily inventory reports.
• Open and close the tanning salon on time.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive individual passionate about the tanning industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales preferred (minimum 1 year sales, 1 year customer service).
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physically able to stand, bend, and work for long periods.
