About the role

The Optical Technician/Sales Associate plays a crucial role in achieving a world-class Total Patient Experience, maximizing retail sales, and supporting patients' medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Total Patient Experience to build strong relationships with all patients
• Determine patient needs and exceed expectations through effective selling
• Select frames based on style and color, coordinating with measurements and prescriptions
• Educate and recommend appropriate lenses, coatings, and frames
• Accurately collect and measure various eye-related data points
• Dispense and adjust glasses and contact lens orders
• Support patients throughout the fitting and adjustment process

Requirements

• Previous medical office experience preferred
• Experience in ophthalmic field strongly preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of customer interaction experience
• Favorable background check results
• High school diploma or equivalent
• ABO and NCLE certifications preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong physical abilities including lifting up to 25 lbs, frequent walking, sitting, and standing
• Excellent visual and auditory acuity
