Sales Associate Team Leader

We are looking for a friendly, experienced Sales Associate / Customer Service Team Leader who enjoys delivering 100% customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store and provide fast, efficient service.
• Ring customer sales using an electronic cash register; receive money and give correct change.
• Process refunds for returned merchandise and/or exchanges.
• Assist with shift change by counting money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of a shift.
• Use special equipment to process specialty products such as money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales and redemptions.
• Check identification for restricted sales.
• Replenish and check stock on food service supplies (e.g., cups, lids, condiments, napkins, straws, stirrers).
• Clean and sanitize all equipment used for service or stocking food service products using the three-sink method.
• Clean all areas, including countertops, microwaves, shelves, floors, windows, cooler doors, food service equipment, restrooms, and parking lots.
• Empty trash containers and maintain cleanliness.
• Stock shelves and cooler; rotate and front-face stock.
• Remove damaged or out-of-code merchandise from shelves.
• Price merchandise according to the price book.
• Check in vendor deliveries using company guidelines and complete bad merchandise forms.
• Order merchandise as needed.
• Use and complete current training materials, evaluations, and documents; provide feedback to management on training programs.
• Monitor cash levels and security procedures during shifts to ensure compliance.
• Review job assignments for completeness.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned to accommodate store operational needs.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
