Sales Associate, Swing Studio

Specific Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome and assist all guests on their purchasing needs and educate them on the products and services provided.
• Aid in the overall organization of the store by ensuring size runs are complete and merchandise is in the proper location and folded or hung neatly.
• Continuously learn more about the products carried in the shop through vendor presentations and supervisor/associate meetings.
• Assist in maintaining the store: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, glass and window cleaning, sweeping, garbage removal, etc.
• Suggestively sell our retail offerings, in-store promotions, and inform guests of events.
• Cashiering and finalizing the sale: opening and closing of register, ringing sales (cash, credit card, gift certificate, room charges etc), processing coupons, discounts, markdowns, and end-of-day reports.
• Aid in the training of new Retail Associates.
• Aid in placing special orders.
• Aid in checking in shipments and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Aid in physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Aid in tagging of new merchandise and preparing merchandise for store floor.
• Be knowledgeable in basic Dataworks inventory system.
• Be knowledgeable about and be able to promote the Destination Kohler Resort and the Village of Kohler: van service, directions, restaurants and menus, hours of operation etc.
• Complete other tasks assigned within job scope.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• A high school diploma is recommended.
• Past retail experience and knowledge of golf is a plus.

Opportunity

This is a casual part-time position, working weekdays and weekends with shifts varying from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $12.40 - $18.60. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
