Sales Associate - Soma

Position Objective

The Sales Associate supports Management in fostering a customer-focused sales culture, emphasizing the company's values and principles.

Functional Responsibilities

• Meets company sales goals using sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Maintains knowledge of sales and promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
• Maintains merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
• Participates in visual directives such as monthly store sets and sales floor maintenance.
• Promotes MAPS principles, ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns, and provides efficient register service.
• Builds and maintains a customer following through clienteling and wardrobing, and stays updated on product offerings.
• Communicates with clients via tools like Style Connect and Customer Book.
• Supports replenishment activities and assists with locate fulfillment.
• Aids in visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, and signage placement.
• Assists with boutique cleanliness and organization.
• Works collaboratively with team members and seeks personal development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Retail or sales experience (preferred).
• Must be 16+ in AZ, GA, ID, IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, and VA; 18+ in all other states.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Constant Walking/Standing: 67-100%
• Occasional Lifting: Up to 50 lbs., 1-33%
• Frequent Climbing: 34%-66%

Wage Range

The wage range for this position is $15.00 to $18.75 per hour.
