About the role
Love helping homeowners tackle small remodels and see their vision come to life? Model Remodel, a Seattle-based general contractor with a focus on remodeling and sustainability, is looking for a motivated Small Jobs Division (SJD) Sales Associate (internally titled Client Services Representative/CSR).
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle for small projects, from responding to leads and qualifying prospects to preparing estimates and presenting contracts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project and warranty period.
- Prepare accurate contracts with clearly defined scope, exclusions, and assumptions.
- Partner with internal teams and subcontractors for seamless handoff to production.
- Represent Model Remodel at trade shows, networking events, and industry outreach opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction/remodeling experience and 5+ years in remodeling sales.
- Proven track record in estimating, contract preparation, and closing sales.
- Strong knowledge of building practices, methods, and scheduling.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and CRM/project management tools.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

Skills
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
- Ability to navigate residential properties, including stairs, uneven surfaces, and tight spaces.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds; occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work at a computer or desk area for extended periods of time and use color-sensitive tools.
- Ability to operate measuring tools (tape measures, laser devices) and safely drive to locations within King County.
