About the role
You represent Von Maur and impact our reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. In this action-packed department, you have the opportunity to make a lasting impression on the customers’ shopping experience through building relationships and optimizing brand knowledge to meet the customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Own the customer experience – greet people sincerely, be friendly and thank every customer
- Develop relationships to grow your business
- Achie individual sales and account goals
- Highlight product knowledge and store services to create the best customer experience
- Ring POS transactions and key account information
- Assist customers with sizing, fitting and trying on shoes
- Maintain a visually appealing and clean department, and shoe stock room
- Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
