Responsibilities

• Understanding customers' needs and following through in offering meaningful and unique solutions
• Greeting and welcoming every customer that visits GNC
• Servicing customers, advising, selling, and recommending products
• Restocking products, maintaining visual merchandising, fulfilling online orders, and performing cleaning duties
• Representing the GNC brand by promoting our "Live Well" message to customers
• Interacting with customers to help them choose the right products and make recommendations based on product knowledge and understanding of their needs
• Driving for results to achieve and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals
• Fulfilling online orders timely and accurately in compliance with company guidelines
• Boosting product knowledge by learning the features, advantages, and benefits of products
• Supporting store management in the opening, closing, and operating of a retail store
• Performing tasks such as cash handling, inventory count, and deposits, and maintaining store appearance
• Using a computer up to 60% of the day

Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day
• Frequent reaching and bending and twisting - below waist and above shoulders
• Frequently required to use repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend
• Working in temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees, especially in stock room areas
• Ability to work varied hours and days to meet the needs of the store
• Generally working nights or mornings to open or close the store
• Working key peak business days/hours including weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
• Working all major U.S. holidays that the store is open
• At least 18 years of age
