Sales Associate / Product Knowledge Specialist

About the Role
As a Sales Associate / Product Knowledge Specialist at Classic Nissan, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them throughout the entire sales process—from initial contact to vehicle delivery. This role requires in-depth product knowledge to effectively educate customers on their vehicle options and provide exceptional service while meeting sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Conduct needs analysis to determine customer's vehicle preferences and budget
- Utilize product knowledge to educate customers on vehicle features and benefits
- Demonstrate vehicle functionality and assist with test drives
- Follow up with customers to answer questions and address concerns
- Negotiate and close sales contracts with customers
- Stay up-to-date on new products, features, and automotive industry trends
- Achieve individual and team sales goals
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction ratings
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening test
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
