Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Wolfchase Mall, Memphis, TN

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers at DTLR stores. Our employees play a crucial role in our success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Displays basic fashion and trend knowledge and sells appropriate merchandise while adhering to DTLR standards and building customer relationships.
• Assists with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Presents a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to each customer, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Complies with all company policies and embraces service training and product programs.
• Ensures all visual standards are followed, completes daily restocking, and represents adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Aids in preventing both employee and customer theft.
• Maintains a neat and orderly sales environment.
• Supports store organization as directed by store management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not necessary.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills And Knowledge Requirements

• An excellent command of the English language to effectively communicate with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving abilities, analytical abilities, detail orientation, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, accurate inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during critical project phases.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Reliable transportation.
