Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Wesley Chapel, Decatur, GA

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers at DTLR stores. Our employees play a crucial role in our success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Displays basic fashion and trend knowledge and sells appropriate merchandise while adhering to DTLR standards and building customer relationships.
• Aids in receiving shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing products.
• Projects a positive, energetic, and outgoing demeanor to customers, maintaining a positive attitude towards the job and the company.
• Complies with all company policies and embraces service training and product programs.
• Maintains visual standards, completes daily restocking, and ensures proper representation of sizes according to visual directions.
• Assists in preventing both employee and customer theft and helps maintain a tidy sales environment.
• Supports store management in organizing the store as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not necessary.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills And Knowledge Requirements

• An excellent command of the English language to effectively communicate with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a willingness to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, attention to detail, flexibility, strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, manage inventory, transport merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during critical project phases.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Requires reliable transportation.
