Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Towson Town Center, Towson, MD

About the role

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team at DTLR stores. Our employees play a crucial role in ensuring that customers have the best shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive selling efforts and build customer relationships through exceptional customer service and sales techniques.
• Perform daily store functions including product merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance.
• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs and maintain DTLR standards.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression to each customer.
• Comply with all company policies and embrace service training and product programs.
• Ensure all visual standards are followed, complete daily restock, and represent adequate size runs per visual directions.
• Help eliminate employee and customer theft.
• Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
• Assist in keeping the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not necessary.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must possess an excellent command of the English language to effectively communicate with management, customers, and other employees.
• Desire to work with customers in a retail setting and possess basic fashion and style trend knowledge.
• Individuals should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, detail orientation, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, accurate inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, work extended hours during critical project phases, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Compensation

The Sales Associate (Part-Time) pay range is $15.00 - $15.00 per hour. This role is eligible for the company's 401K plan.
