Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Overland Plaza, St. Louis, MO

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers at DTLR stores. Success in this role hinges on strong customer service, sales, and teamwork.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs and maintain DTLR standards.
• Aid in receiving shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive and energetic impression to customers, fostering a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere.
• Comply with all company policies and embrace service training and product programs.
• Maintain visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure proper representation of merchandise sizes.
• Help prevent both employee and customer theft and keep the store organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, including command of the English language.
• Basic fashion and style knowledge, along with a desire to work in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation is required.
