Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Meadowbrook, Jackson, MS

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers at DTLR stores. Success in this role hinges on strong customer service, sales, and teamwork.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Displays basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs and maintain DTLR standards.
• Aids in managing shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Projects a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic demeanor to customers, fostering good relationships.
• Complies with all company policies and embraces service training and product programs.
• Maintains visual standards, completes daily restocks, and ensures proper representation of merchandise sizes.
• Assists in preventing both employee and customer theft and maintains a tidy store environment.
• Supports store organization as directed by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following: previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Essential qualities include an excellent command of the English language, basic fashion and trend knowledge, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, attention to detail, flexibility, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, working extended hours during critical phases, and adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Reliable transportation is also required.
