The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is hiring Part-Time Sales Associates – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSC) to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. Description of Work

As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of our store – engaging with customers, assisting with sales, and contributing to a positive shopping atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, helping shoppers find what they need.
• Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
• Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, loading them into vehicles.
• Safely lift products – occasionally overhead or from a squatting position from the floor – weighing 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds, ensuring both personal safety and product protection.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers who are legally permitted to buy it.
• Work in a friendly, team-oriented environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Work Schedule: Monday/Tuesday, 11:00am – 7:15pm
  Wednesday – Saturday, 9:00am – 7:15pm
  Sunday, Closed
• Flexible Shifts: Typically ranging from 4 – 8 hours per shift, with availability on a rotating basis during the week with daytime and evening hours as well as the weekend with daytime and evening hours.
• Store Location: Headquarters in the store listed at the top of this posting. Assigned to work in other stores within the county or district based on operational needs.
• Required Availability: 13 – 25 hours per week. Telework: Not available in this position.
• Salary: Starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

Qualifications

• Necessary Special Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Other Requirements: Must meet the PA residency requirement.
• Legal Requirements: Must pass a background investigation.
