Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Macon, GA

Location: Macon, Georgia (Eisenhower Crossing) | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Reports To: Store Manager

About the Role

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. Knowledgeable in each product area or department, the Sales Associate upholds policies, procedures, and standards while promoting sales and promotions. Serves as an ambassador of the organization and brand, creating a unique customer experience to acquire and retain long-time customers. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and promoting store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary customer service as outlined in the customer service manual, assisting customers during entry and peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by the organization.
• Set and consistently meet goals to grow and improve selling skills while tracking overall sales.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards as listed in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
• Assist in daily store operations, including completing work lists, clean-up tasks, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
• Utilize merchandise presentation techniques to promote and sell goods, guided by the product knowledge manual.
• Consistently achieve and/or exceed sales targets and goals.
• Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational issues to store management.
• Attend all staff meetings and technical training clinics for the store.
• Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks to management.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Team-player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Pay

$9.00 - $9.00 per hour
