About the Role

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is hiring Part-Time Sales Associates – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSC) to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. We’re seeking friendly, motivated individuals passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience. Now hiring at Store #4110.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, helping shoppers find what they need.
• Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
• Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, loading them into vehicles.
• Safely lift products weighing 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds, ensuring personal safety and product protection.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to legally permitted customers.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements

• Pass a background investigation.
• No felony convictions within the last ten years, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
• Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Schedule

• Permanent, part-time employment.
• Preferred availability: 25 to 30 hours per week.
• Store hours:
  • Monday through Saturday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Sunday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Flexible shifts, typically 4 to 6 hours per shift.
• Rotating schedule with daytime and evening hours, including Sundays.
• Minimum 13 hours per week, with the opportunity to work up to 32 hours per week.
• No telework option.

Location

Headquartered at Store #4110, located in Loyal Plaza Shopping Center on the Golden Strip. May be assigned to work in other stores within the county or district based on operational needs.
