About the Role
As an Ambassador of the Maison, you will achieve and exceed sales targets as directed by management and proactively develop your client portfolio. You will ensure a unique client experience throughout all touch points and actively participate in the daily operations of the boutique.
Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed the monthly sales target, as directed by management.
- Provide outstanding and exceptional customer service, including greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring high service standards before, during, and after sales.
- Adapt your approach according to client needs and motivations, and handle objections with ease.
- Assist and support after-sales clients in accordance with Maison values, acting as a referent and providing recommendations for an exceptional client experience.
- Remain current on industry news and competitor activities.
- Cultivate new and existing client relationships through exceptional service and Maison-specific CRM initiatives.
- Consistently and accurately capture client data for follow-up and relationship building.
- Resolve client issues and escalate concerns to management as needed.
- Develop and participate in in-store and offsite events and networking opportunities.
- Understand and comply with all security and operational policies and procedures for the Group, Maison, and boutique.
- Assist with daily set-up and breakdown of the boutique, and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain merchandising and daily upkeep of displays and back-stock.
- Actively participate in daily and annual inventories and cycle counts to ensure a successful audit.
- Assist with special projects, such as price changes and back-office responsibilities.
Requirements
- College degree preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of previous experience in luxury retail.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently, in addition to one weekday.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency with computers, internet, and MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
- General knowledge of timepiece movements is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of customer service needs and priorities (both internal and external).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
- Must uphold the Cartier image by maintaining a professional demeanor and acting as a genuine Ambassador for the Brand.
- Self-starter with a team-player approach.
- Must be available to work retail hours, including weekends, and travel for trainings, client events, and conferences.

Pay
Expected hourly range: $26–$28 per hour (eligible for commission and overtime). Salaries will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
