Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Grand River, Detroit, MI

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers at DTLR stores. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering strong customer relationships.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Display basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs and maintain DTLR standards.
• Aid in receiving shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing products.
• Present a positive and energetic impression to customers, maintaining a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
• Comply with all company policies and embrace service training and product programs.
• Ensure visual standards are met, complete daily restocks, and represent adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Help prevent employee and customer theft and maintain a tidy store environment.
• Perform other tasks as directed by store management.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following qualities:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• An excellent command of the English language for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
• Basic fashion and style knowledge, along with a passion for working with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, strong communication, and interpersonal skills for providing exceptional customer service.
• The ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, work extended hours during critical phases, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Reliable transportation for store visits.
