Sales Associate Part-Time (College)

Jostens is searching for part-time Sales Associates to represent the company at college events, creating a positive customer experience and welcoming atmosphere on campuses nationwide.

About the role

This seasonal, part-time event-based role is the face of Jostens on college campuses. You will assist students and parents in purchasing commencement products at scheduled events. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout the assigned local territory, with potential opportunities to work additional events outside the area. Travel time and miles will be reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Transport, set up, and break down event displays
• Educate students and families about Jostens products and services
• Assist customers with sales of multiple products
• Arrive punctually to school events (locations vary by territory)
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Operate an iPad and use a computer
• Work at fast-paced, high-energy events with high attendance
• Stand for long hours, both indoors and outdoors
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Work a flexible and varying schedule

Requirements

• Professional appearance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (public transportation not permitted)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to travel within the territory, including extensive same-day travel and occasional overnight stays
• MS Word and Excel on a personal computer or laptop (cell phone use for paperwork is not acceptable)

Qualifications

Preferred: 1-2 years of prior sales experience.

Pay

The pay range is $18.00/hour to $20.00/hour.

Schedule

Part-time, averaging 20 hours weekly, with increased hours during peak periods.
