Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Clothing - Grand Forks, ND

About the role

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, providing excellent customer service including greeting customers, answering product-related questions, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they shop in the retail store
• Assist with customer service questions
• Price store merchandise and make price changes as requested
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested
• Absorb incoming products and organize them as directed
• Participate in cycle counts
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately
• Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system
• Ensure accurate cash handling
• Handle customer returns
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of clothing, accessories, etc.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Knowledge of and/or experience with FFL requirements for the sale of firearms is strongly preferred

Organizational Relationships

The Sales Associate reports directly to the Store Manager. The Sales Associate has no direct supervisory authority.
