About the role
We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team at DTLR stores. Our employees play a crucial role in ensuring that customers have the best shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive selling efforts and build customer relationships through exceptional customer service and sales techniques.
- Perform daily store functions including product merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance.
- Display basic fashion and trend knowledge to meet customer needs and maintain DTLR standards.
- Aid in shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Present a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression to customers, maintaining a positive attitude.
- Comply with all company policies and embrace service training and product programs.
- Ensure visual standards are met, complete daily restocks, and represent adequate size runs according to visual directions.
- Help eliminate employee and customer theft, and assist in maintaining a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent command of the English language for effective communication with management, customers, and other employees.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, attention to detail, flexibility, strong communication, and interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, work extended hours, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Pay
The Sales Associate (Part-Time) pay range is $15.00 - $15.00 per hour. This role is eligible for the company's 401K plan.
