Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Chatham Ridge, Chicago, IL

About the role

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team at DTLR stores. Our employees play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have the best shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive selling efforts and customer relationships through exceptional customer service and sales techniques.
• Perform daily store functions including product merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression to each customer.
• Comply with all company policies and embrace service training and product programs.
• Ensure all visual standards are followed, complete daily restock, and represent adequate size runs per visual directions.
• Help eliminate employee and customer theft.
• Aid in maintaining a neat and orderly sales environment.
• Support store organization as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred, but not necessary.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent command of the English language to effectively communicate with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, detail orientation, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, accurate inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible to work extended hours during critical project phases.
• Adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation

The Sales Associate (Part-Time) pay range is $17.05 - $17.05 per hour. This role is eligible for the company's 401K plan.
