Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Atlanta, GA ( Sunshine Plaza )

Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Sunshine Plaza) | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Reports To: Store Manager

About the Role

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. They are knowledgeable in each product area or department in the store, uphold policies and procedures, and fully promote sales and promotions. Serving as an ambassador of the organization and brand, the Sales Associate creates a unique customer experience to acquire and retain long-time customers. They are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and promoting merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter the store and during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by the organization.
• Set and consistently meet goals to grow and improve selling skills while tracking overall sales.
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and standards as outlined in operational manuals.
• Assist in daily store operations, including completing work lists, clean-up tasks, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
• Present merchandise effectively to promote and sell goods, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
• Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational issues to store management.
• Attend all staff meetings and technical training clinics for the store.
• Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and reporting potential fraud risks.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision.
• Team-player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Pay

Hourly rate: $11.75 - $11.75
