Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Athens, Athens, GA

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated employees to join our team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers at DTLR stores. Success in this role depends on strong customer service, sales, and teamwork skills.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Displays basic fashion and trend knowledge and sells appropriate merchandise while adhering to DTLR standards and building customer relationships.
• Aids in receiving shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing products.
• Projects a positive and energetic image to customers, maintaining a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Complies with all company policies and participates in service and product training programs.
• Maintains visual standards, completes daily restocking, and ensures proper representation of sizes according to visual directions.
• Assists in preventing theft and maintains a tidy store environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store management.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Skills And Knowledge Requirements

• Excellent command of the English language for communicating with management, customers, and colleagues.
• Basic fashion and style knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented skills to handle inventory control and merchandise transport.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Fitness for standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, working extended hours, and handling a fast-paced environment.
