Sales Associate (Part Time)

About the role

As a Sales Associate, you will be a key part of the customer experience, representing the Spring Step brand with confidence, care, and enthusiasm. You'll help customers find the perfect fit while contributing to a welcoming, energetic, and service-focused store environment. Whether you're assisting a first-time shopper or a loyal customer, you'll play an important role in bringing our brand to life every day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, personalized customer service while sharing your product knowledge and passion for our footwear.
• Drive sales through thoughtful recommendations, styling advice, and add-on selling.
• Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat visits and brand loyalty.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor that reflects Spring Footwear's standards.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, receiving shipments, and e-commerce order fulfillment.
• Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Represent Spring Footwear's family of brands with professionalism, integrity, and pride.
• Support daily store operations while working collaboratively to achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and customer-first work culture.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable team players with a passion for helping customers.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred (footwear, fashion, apparel, or specialty retail is a plus).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
